WonderfulDiving for the beginner to the most Experienced
Technical Diver!
Guided Beach Wreck Dives and Offshore Charters to The
Graveyard of The Atlantic, they are great. We schedule The Guided Wreck
Dives off the Beach from April to November. Offshore Charters to the Wrecks are
offered all year depending on weather for special charters, and our regular
scheduled Season begins the first week in May. I would suggest making
reservations as soon as possible. Tanks are not included in the Charters. The
recreational charters are scheduled for two dives. Technical Dives can be
arranged. There is always a Dive master on the charters but they do not dive
with the divers unless needed as a guide. I suggest new divers, rusty
divers or divers new to this environment, get a guide for at least the first two dives
($35.00/diver/dive). It makes for a great introduction to this environment.
Training is
available at all levels and specialties.
The best beach wreck dive
sites this year are; The famous historical Wreck of the USS
Huron, and the "Triangle" wrecks. The Triangle consists of the wrecks
of Carl Gerhard and the Kyzickes, a freighter and a
tanker. Both of these are excellent beach dives. We have guided wreck dives off the beach that can be
custom designed for you. We are the only location on the East Coast that has historic
wrecks off the beach. The guides, (experienced, certified,
active Dive masters and Instructors) charge $40.00 ea. per diver and we have all
the state of the art equipment you would need to rent or want to buy. BC,
Regulators, wet suit and tank, rent for $50.00/day. Our guides are
professional and experienced, they not only see to the diving needs but give
historical background, information about the wrecks, safety procedures and
environmental orientation. The premier diving in The Graveyard Of The
Atlantic is the offshore charters for it's depth of adventure, diversity of
marine life and quality of dive experiences. Wreck dives off the beach are a
little more demanding, (with a 200 to 350 yard swim out), than getting off and
on a dive boat. The Beach dives are, however, one dive for half a day as
compared to two dives for a full day charter. Reservations should be made as
soon as possible to assure spots. If you are here a week or more, make your
reservations earlier in the week so that if there is inclement weather, you have
a chance to schedule later. Offshore Wreck Charters are scheduled on a regular
basis to the different wrecks but can also be custom designed and private
charters. We use and exceed the highest safety standards in the industry.
