The flagship of the Dive Rite regulator line, The Hurricane offers unparalleled performance in the most demanding environments. Having passed the stringent CE approval to EN 250 standards and receiving top marks from Scuba Lab, the Hurricane has earned a reputation as a high-performance regulator. Unique to the Hurricane is its overbalanced first stage that increases interstage pressure as a diver descends to compensate for denser air. The pneumatically balanced second stage delivers air at a constant pressure so work of breathing remains effortless independent of depth. An adjustable venturi lever and inhalation resistance knob allows the diver to fine tune inhalation effort and breathing resistance based on dive conditions or diver preference. The first stage is the smallest cold-water ready regulator on the market and the Hurricane second stage is equipped with a patented heat exchanger to prevent freezing in extreme cold conditions. The Hurricane first stage contains two 7/16-inch high pressure ports and four angled 3/8-inch low pressure ports provide ease of hose configuration. The Hurricane comes standard with a 300-bar DIN connector. The Hurricane second stage features a specially designed front cover that offers maximum protection to the diaphragm and minimizes free flow from strong currents or flow. The Hurricane features oxygen compatible o-rings and lubricants and is Nitrox-ready. The Hurricane is sold only as a complete unit as the first and second stages are factory tuned to each other for optimum performance.

The RG2500 regulator has provided years of unmatched diving performance. A workhorse regulator, the RG2500 is designed exclusively for Dive Rite to our own specifications. Earning CE approval to EN 250, the RG2500 has earned the distinction of having superb breathing, while withstanding the hardships and abuse of technical diving. Pneumatically balanced, the RG2500 delivers air at a constant pressure so work of breathing remains effortless independent of depth. An adjustable venturi lever and inhalation resistance knob allows the diver to fine tune inhalation effort and breathing resistance based on dive conditions or diver preference. The RG2500 first stage contains two 7/16-inch high pressure ports and four 3/8-inch low pressure ports on a swiveling turret to provide ease of hose configuration. The RG2500 comes standard with a 300-bar DIN connector and yoke adapter. It features oxygen compatible o-rings and lubricants and is Nitrox-ready. The RG2500 serves as an excellent stage regulator, primary regulator or as a set of side mount regulators. The swiveling turret creates a variety of hose routing options that can be personalized according to dive plan and individual style. The RG2500 has an optional cold-water environmental kit that allows the RG2500 to perform in cold-water conditions. The factory-installed environmental kit also protects the regulator from build up of salt, sand, or other contaminants.

The RG1215 Second Stage Octopus is ideal as a back up regulator, decompression bottle regulator, or octopus. Its simple, spring balanced, downstream design is easy to maintain and offers proven reliability dive after dive. The RG1215 is equipped with a pre-dive/dive Venturi lever that controls free-flow when the second stage is not in the diver's mouth. A compact exhaust tee makes the RG1215 very low profile, which is helpful when attached to a decompression bottle or clipped off as an octopus. The RG1215 comes standard with a 40-inch hose and a yellow cover. Green, blue or black interchangeable covers sold separately.
Note: Spring balanced regulators should not be used at depths below 130-feet due to inhalation hesitation.

The
Right Angle Adapter attaches between
the regulator second stage and its low pressure hose routing the hose
down the diver's chest and/or under the arm, which increases comfort and
streamlining. This low-profile adapter is not an omni-directional swivel
and so it maintains its angle and will not allow the regulator to flop
around. Placed on a 40-inch primary regulator hose in a single-tank
regulator configuration, the Right Angle Adapter allows the hose to
route down under the arm and up to the mouth, getting rid of the large
hose "arc" that protrudes from the tank around the diver and hence, can
become easily snagged. Sidemount divers use the Right Angle Adapter to
route their hoses down chest to the bottles eliminating the need to
route the hose around the neck.
